Yale Milestone Press Release

Yale Helps People Around the World Feel Safe and Secure

As one of the key ambassadors for the ASSA ABLOY Group around the globe, Yale contributes with products and knowledge in making the world safer and more secure, summarized best as - Unlock Your Life. With this philosophy in mind, since 2001 Yale has provided entry door locks and interior locksets for homes that Habitat for Humanity builds in North America. Our decade-long partnership has provided more than 500,000 locksets valued at nearly $11 million.

Habitat for Humanity’s affordable housing work really strikes a chord with our own company objectives. Providing products that create safe and secure home environments is one our cornerstones. We also strongly realize the extreme need for affordable and safe housing and what impact its availability has on the community. We have seen how a collection of good safe homes is needed to make up an involved community, that community in turn provides the much-needed foundation for success so many families are unfortunately denied. Habitat for Humanity allows us to give back to the community in a manner we know best, home security.
